Terms of Use

My AI Explorer Journey is an online AI literacy programme for children aged 6–10, created and operated by Sayanti Bhattacharya, an independent educator and content creator based in India. This is an individual tutoring service, not a registered company. Contact: aiexplorer@augmentalabs.in.

1. Beta Release

My AI Explorer Journey is currently in an early (beta) release. This is our first enrolment cycle, and while we have worked hard to make the platform and course material ready for learners, you may occasionally encounter minor issues — such as a video taking longer to load, a worksheet needing a small correction, or a feature being refined based on user feedback. We actively monitor the platform, respond quickly to any reported issues, and will keep improving the content, sessions, and experience as we go. By enrolling during the beta period, you acknowledge this and agree that occasional glitches do not constitute a defect in service. Please write to us at aiexplorer@augmentalabs.in with any feedback — it directly shapes the next version of the course.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, enrolling your child, or otherwise using this site, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the enrolled child and that you accept these Terms of Use in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

3. Course Access

Access to the course is personal and non-transferable. One account is permitted per enrolled child, intended for private educational use within your household. Login credentials may not be shared, sold, or used by anyone other than the enrolled learner and their supervising parent/guardian.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not share, lend, or resell your login credentials.
  • Do not download, screen-record, copy, or redistribute any course videos or materials.
  • Do not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts the service for others.
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent any technical protection on the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

All course content — including videos, written material, illustrations, worksheets, branding, and certificates — belongs to Sayanti Bhattacharya and is protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to view the content for the duration of your enrolment. No other rights are granted.

6. Child Safety

This platform is designed for children supervised by a parent or guardian. Children may not register independently — accounts must be created and managed by an adult. Parents are responsible for supervising their child's use of the platform and any third-party AI tools referenced in the lessons.

7. Payments

All payments are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are processed via Razorpay / UPI. We do not store your card or bank details on our servers — payment information is handled directly by the payment provider in line with their security standards.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform and all course content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that any AI-tool output displayed or generated during a lesson will be accurate, appropriate, or safe in every case. Parents are expected to supervise their child's use of the platform and any AI tools referenced in the lessons.

9. Third-Party AI Tools

Lessons reference and use third-party tools including (but not limited to) Google Gemini, Suno, ElevenLabs, Canva AI, MIT Scratch, and Google Teachable Machine. These tools are operated by independent third parties under their own terms of service and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, content, data handling, or any change to their offerings. Parents are responsible for reviewing and accepting those providers' terms and for supervising what their child inputs into any such tool.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sayanti Bhattacharya from and against any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) misuse of the platform or your login credentials; (c) any content the child inputs into third-party AI tools; (d) violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

11. Limitation of Liability

The course is provided as educational enrichment. We make no guarantees about specific learning outcomes, academic results, or future opportunities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the platform or these Terms shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the course. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Your sole and exclusive monetary remedy is a refund as described in Section 12 and in the Refund Policy.

12. Refund Window

A refund of the amount paid may be requested within 15 days of enrollment (counted from the date payment is confirmed). After the 15-day window, no refunds will be issued, as content is fully digital and immediately accessible. Full details and the request process are in the Refund Policy.

13. Dispute Resolution

The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or disagreement amicably through written communication to aiexplorer@augmentalabs.in within 30 days of the dispute arising. Both parties shall engage in good-faith discussion to reach a fair resolution. Only if amicable resolution fails within this period shall the Governing Law and jurisdiction provisions below apply.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Section 13 above, any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Greater Noida / Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the platform. Continued use of the course after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
