Privacy Policy

2. What We Collect

• Parent's name, email address, and phone number.
• Child's first name and age group only.
• Payment transaction reference (from Razorpay/UPI). We do not store card or bank details.
• Usage data — sessions watched, progress, and feedback ratings.

We do not collect photos, videos, voice recordings, or biometric data of children.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Account creation and management.
• Sending one-time passwords (OTPs) for sign-in and verification.
• Generating and emailing certificates on course completion.
• Sharing essential course updates and announcements.
• Aggregated, anonymised analytics to improve lessons.

4. Data Storage

Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS. All connections are encrypted using HTTPS / TLS. Account and progress data is retained for up to 2 years after your last session, after which it is deleted unless you request earlier removal.

5. Children's Data (DPDP Act 2023)

• Verifiable parental consent is required before any child's data is processed.
• We do not profile children or use their data for behavioural advertising.
• Parents can request deletion of their child's data at any time.
• We do not share children's data with third parties, except where required by law.

6. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies needed to keep you signed in and run the platform. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

7. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the platform:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Razorpay — payment processing (INR / UPI).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

8. Your Rights

As a parent/guardian you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email aiexplorer@augmentalabs.in. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections, hashed credentials, and row-level access controls so that only you (and the educator, where required) can see your records. While no online service can be 100% secure, we work to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the platform. Continued use of the course after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
